Mr. S. Brian Lambeth is in his ninth year as Director of Bands at North Gwinnett High School and his twenty-third year of teaching. Prior to this, he served as Director of Bands at North Hall HS, Oconee County High School and Associate Director of Bands at Sumter High School, Sumter, South Carolina. A native of Raleigh, North Carolina, Mr. Lambeth received his Bachelor of Music Education Degree from the University of Georgia in 1986 and his Master of Music Performance in Bass Trombone from the Juilliard School in 1988.  He is a member of the Georgia Music Educators Association and the Music Educators National Conference. In addition, Mr. Lambeth is an elected member of Phi Beta Mu, an international bandmasters fraternity. Mr. Lambeth is married to Judy Lambeth, a counselor at Chestatee HS in Hall County.  They reside in Buford with their two cats, Abby and Bart.

Mr. Hunter McRae began teaching in 1999.  He attended the University of Georgia for his Bachelors degree in music education, and he earned his Masters degree in Educational Leadership from Walden University.  Mr. McRae began his teaching career in Houston, TX.  Since that time, Mr. McRae has taught at Collins Hill High School, North Gwinnett High School, Lanier Middle School and North Gwinnett Middle School.  Mr. McRae has been an active percussion educator throughout his teaching career.  Prior to teaching in public schools, he was both a member and an instructor of the nationally recognized Santa Clara Vanguard drum and bugle corps.  He has also been a clinician, arranger and adjudicator for percussion programs in Georgia, Texas, and California.  Mr. McRae has been the recipient of the NBA Citation of Excellence, and he has also been active in commissioning new music for percussion ensembles.  Bands and percussion ensembles under Mr. McRae’s instruction have consistently earned superior ratings at contests and festivals, and he is also an Educational Artist for Innovative Percussion.  Mr. McRae and his wife, Naomi, live in Gainesville, Ga with their two children Bella and Owen.

Mr. Joe Higgins is in his third year with the North Gwinnett High School and Middle School band programs. A graduate of the University of Georgia, Mr. Higgins was a member of the Wind Ensemble (Dr. John Culvahouse, Conductor 2004-07; Dr. John Lynch, Conductor 2007-08), the Percussion Ensemble and Steel Band (Dr. Tony McCutchen, Director), and the UGA Redcoat Marching Band. In May of 2007, he traveled with the Redcoat Band on a performance tour of China, and during the 2007 and 2008 seasons, he had the honor of serving as one of the band's drum majors. Mr. Higgins is a member of the Music Educators National Conference (National Association of Music Educators), the Georgia Music Educators Association, the Percussion Arts Society, the National Band Association, and Pi Kappa Lambda (a collegiate honor society dedicated to the furtherance of music in education).  He lives with his wife Michelle in Cumming.

Mr. G. Marion English is in his eighth year with the band program at North Gwinnett. A Gwinnett County native, he received both Bachelors (1988) and Masters Degrees (1998) in Music Education from the University of Georgia. Mr. English taught one year in the Barrow County School System and thirteen years at Berkmar High School where he was the 2000 - 2001 Teacher of the Year and Gwinnett County TOTY semifinalist. He currently performs with The Soul Purpose Band, the Still Swinging Big Band, the Lanier Brass Quintet, and also has extensive experience in solo performance for wedding ceremonies. Mr. English serves in the Georgia Music Educators Association, the Music Educators National Conference, and Phi Beta Mu, an international bandmasters fraternity. In addition, Mr. English is a member of Pi Kappa Lambda, a collegiate honor society dedicated to the furtherance of music in education.
